It’s funny how when Krystal isn’t totally off her ass happy and has a solemn look on her face - she gets labeled as looking like a bitch or being rude. Then, when Kai pulls this exact look at disneyland his rabid fangirls go apeshit in defending him against those who claimed that he displayed a somewhat disinterested behavior.
Honestly, nothing against Kai. I just couldn’t help to notice the stark contrast in fan reactions between the two. I’m really into these two individually so I took notice of this right away. Krystal and Kai are my favorites in SM and it’s no coincidence. In my observations they are in certain ways very similar to each other. Both of them come off as aloof at times, they pull the sexy image even though they’re among the youngest, they get the most screen time, they’re approximately the same age, both pull a lot of weight in their group, it goes on. However, it seems that because Kai has a penis he gets less slack than Krystal does and this is just absolute hilarity to me.
My thoughts on his behavior?
Who really gives a shit? Let the guy feel how he wants to feel, he’s off on his own time and is not entitled to put on an act for you. Same thing goes for Krystal. No, she’s not being a bitch because she looks disinterested and is a female. She’s probably just really not into being fake or having random cameras slammed into her face.
Why I like these two so much regardless of their “attitudes”?
Like I mentioned before, it’s not a coincidence. I don’t become easily fascinated by just any random public figures. With these two, it’s because they’re exactly who they are and they don’t act otherwise just to please others that I am really into them. They don’t give a shit about meeting your contradicting standards.
Yeah, sure - some people are more bright and cheerful than others and this does not mean that they’re being fake, it’s just who they are. Well, the same reasoning can be applied here, this is just how these two are.
So, go on being aloof and disinterested as shit you two, I love you for it.
